What is Powder Coating?
A powder coating is the most effective way to refurbish you alloys, for many different reasons. One of them being the protection it provides, as it produces a much thicker coating, which doesn’t run or sag but does protect your alloys. Another reason is because it leaves your vehicle looking much more visually attractive, as it gives you more choice for customisation as it can create a wide range of different effects. Finally, it is environmental-friendly, as emits zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), and can also be recycled.
Here at Project Customs, we will always use a powder coating when carrying out an alloy wheel refurbishment on our customers vehicles here in Leeds. Our powder coating process involves taking your alloy wheels back to their original aluminium, by chemically stripping all the paint and powder and removing any damage, then powder coat the alloys with any colour of your preference. If you don’t happen to find any colours in particular from our selection that you like, we are more than happy to mix any colour to suit your preference!
