Powder Coating your Wheels involves a process that begins by taking your Wheels back to their original aluminum. This process begins with a chemical strip of all paint and powders (we don’t use a burn off oven like other companies as this destabilizes the structure of the aluminium – therefor weakening the wheel and making it more susceptible to cracks and buckles). From hereon we remove any damage, shot blast the entire wheel to remove corrosion and to give the surface a key (a surface that the coating will hold onto). We then Powder Coat the wheel in your colour of choice (we can mix any particular colour on site or choose from a selection of our most popular powders) and then apply either a matt, satin or gloss powder lacquer to finish the process. This is the final coat which will offer not only a very high gloss finish but also offers a durable coating that is warranted for 12 months.
