Tree sap
Are you leaving your vehicle parked by/underneath trees? Well don’t! Unless you have no choice of course, but at least try to avoid it at all costs. Tree sap can react with your vehicles surfaces and leave a rough spot on the paint, resulting in staining the surface. It cannot be removed with a simple wash either, you will need a special polish or rubbing compound to get it off – so save yourself the stress and efforts and keep it away from trees!
Food & Drink
Are you drinking coffee around your vehicle? You may be spilling a splash of coffee here and there and have no idea about it, especially when you’re in a rush! Some food and drink contain acids that eat away at the paint, but fortunately it would take a while to actually damage your vehicle and can be easily washed off.
Bugs
Bugs being splattered on your windows and bumper isn’t the prettiest look. But it can do a lot more than just damage the appearance of your vehicle. The acid in a bugs corpse can eat away at your cars paint, so you must ensure that if you ever notice any bugs splattered on your car, you clean it as soon as possible, either professionally or by yourself with soap and water to remove all traces of bugs before the paint is well and truly damaged.
